annoying voicemail issue

I'm using a A33 and till now have not had any real problems,but a few weeks back someone left a voicemail,I then deleted it BUT the notification is still on my screen saying I have a voicemail!! I've gone into setting and made sure,there is nothing on my server,so how can I get rid of this?

Your using this default phone app through the dialer? Try clearing cache of that app and force stop it

Happens once in a while to people I know. 99.999999% of the time it's a glitch on the carrier's side. Start there first.

The Carrier as in my provider you mean? I'm with sky and have asked them about it but got nowhere!

I'm accessing voicemail via the default phone yes,I've looked in apps but can't find anything,I found the phone but it doesn't give me a option to clear cache

Long press the phone app >tap info>storage>clear cache then Force stop it

You'll likely have to elevate it. The phone monkeys that originally answer calls are lucky if they can tie their shoes in the morning.

Try one more thing clear Data and force stop the phone app
