another lg logo Brick here, optimus s.
i been reading and trying so many things that i cant remember exactly what i did. I can say phone was rooted, installed recovery made a backup and all that i know i installed rom manger before i read all the stuff about it but im pretty sure i removed it before i used it for anything.
all was working fine, battery went dead and nothing but an lg logo it had zvh at the time

been at this for a week if i can get it back i want to try..
ive learned all the things that don't work so far anyone have any ideas ? or mercy on me?


if it still has recovery i cant seem to get to it and has no adb access

am i out of luck ?

pull the battery. Put it back in. Let it charge for an hour. Repeat pull turn on

Try reading through the ROM Manager == BRICK thread. There are ideas and solutions that have worked for others depending on the situation.

thank you i will keep digging that thread, and the some forms of brick thread i have been reading over and over once i think i have it it try the process. Im allays getting errors at the end of a force flash 95, 99 basically when ever the phone reboots
a few places say to just keep trying till it "takes" is that good advice?

what else had you done? did you get a custom recovery on there like Xionia Clockwork?
did you put a custom rom on yet?

if you have Xionia Clockwork, did you try the Key combo to boot custom recovery from powered off? Volume Down + Home + Power and release keys at LG splash.

yes i think xonia is on there it installed without error but no key combo seems to work to get in just right to lg logo nothing else

i have attempted both the unbrick that are most mentioned here

kdz and kp 500

its on now the ominous lg logo staring in my face

if its a lost cause fine but im not ready to give up yet

So im still at this no luck yet getting either backlight with no graphic or solid lg logo on attempted force flashes

is it whats the word "permabrick" have tried forcing v7 thru vd best i ever get is solid lg logo is there anything else to try ? kds nor kp500 Never completes to 100 pct without error has gone to 100 several times but both always end with an error

any advice tips hints anyone?
