Just gave up my Storm 2 on Friday for the Samsung Charge. What a world of difference. Physically, the Charge is larger, but lighter. Functionally...I'm still trying to adjust my thinking to the "Way of the Droid" from BB approach.
The biggest problem I have right now is that I have four email accounts I need to have on my device. All are IMAP. The stock Mail client doesn't delete IMAP mail (well, it does delete it on the device, but on the next folder refresh it comes right back. WTF?!). I tried K9, but it seems to be a battery killer (probably I don't grok the configuration...poll? push? IMAP is passive from the client side, innit?). Also, I want all of my email in one spot (so, four IMAP accounts plus Gmail) and it seems redundant to have the GMail app checking that account, as well as K9 (not to mention Gmail and K9 both popping a notification; I know I could turn off the notification in the GMail app, just discovered that this morning).
I wish there were an IMAP client with a unified Inbox that could also sync Gmail calendar and contacts to the phone...and delete the damn message from both device and server when I tell it to!
OK, enough venting about messaging shortcomings...
