I recently took my Iconia back to the store. I'm trying to decide between getting another Iconia A Toshiba Thrive or the Asus Transformer.
Iconia
Pro's
Easy to root ,full size USB ,custom ROM's available on XDA
Con's
microSD (God I hate those things!) ,screen could be better

Asus
Pro's
Screen is supposedly better ,rootable ,custom ROM's available on XDA ,crazy battery life w/keyboard
Con's
Not as easy to root ,microSD on tablet ,have to pay $150 for the keyboard to get a full size USB and full size SD with the keyboard how is the Transformer any better than a laptop?
Toshiba
Pro's
full size SD! ,(I already have a class 4 32GB SD card) rootable full size USB
Con's Not as easy to root ,have to go to thrive forums for custom ROM's ,screen could be better

I have at least 400 CD's and at least 40BG worth of movies and video's before I even talk about ripping DVD's and BluRays (I've got about 200 DVD's and BluRay's combined) so I need as much space as possible.

Another con for the Thrive-power brick. That thing is just like a laptop and weighs as much as the tablet itself!

I'm deciding between Iconia an Asus tablets, I'm in pro for the Iconia because of the USB port, I already have an old Archos 10.1 and I can't imagine a tablet without USB ports, but my doubt is about the LCD screen on the iconia vs the LED screen of the Asus? what about it?

The screen of my archos tablet has a TFT LCD and it really sucks!!! the viewing angle is very limited and and the light reflecting over the screen. Is there a relevant difference about the screen between the Asus and Iconia tablets?

If I could go back, I would probably have gotten the transformer.

Why!

I'm on the fence as well.

I just pre-ordered the A510 in Silver but some reviews are concerning me.

But the GPS issue on the Asus is a major issue with me, because it won't be fixed, until another model comes out.
