Hey everyone! So I've recently switched back to android after being on iPhone for a looong time..since the iPhone 6 to be exact. Been a member here since 2014 but never really participated a lot. I have to say, android has come a long way! Don't get me wrong, I was perfectly happy with the iPhone 14 pro that I traded in for this S26 plus, I just needed a change. Needless to say this thing has far surpassed my expectations, once I flattened out the rather steep learning curve😅 I even bought a galaxy watch 7 to go along with it!

Looking forward to learning more on here and getting to know some of you!

Thanks! I really can't see a reason to go back any time soon. My entire family is still using iPhone so I'm the black sheep. My wife tried using it for about 30 seconds and said it was too complicated
I'm also my family's black sheep.

At a recent family gathering I was the only one out of nearly two dozen with an android phone

Welcome!!

Add me to the black sheep list.

Oddly enough, at gatherings, some family member will ask me to help them with their iPhone.

Welcome back to the green side.

I hate this. Most of the time when my wife has a problem with her iPhone, I have to Google search for a solution, because I have no idea. I try to keep familiar with iOS, but I just can't use it day to day!
I understand the feeling.

I have never used an iPhone, so I don't know why they ask me for answers. But as you do, I start googling to see what I can do.

I've tried iOS several times and I keep coming back to Android. Once iOS added rcs support, I knew there would be no reason for me to ever switch again. Even though there are other ways to send high quality pictures and videos to iOS users, they never use those apps. They would just complain and say, well if you just had an iPhone.... It's as if those other messaging apps don't even exist to iPhone users. Messaging and group messaging was truly a mess up until a couple of years ago when it came to sending and receiving media in them between the two operating systems.
