Another "Out of space" thread, still no actual answer?

I have searched this and numerous other forums like XDA and Rootzwiki and no one has actually answered this.
Using the Micro SD boot method.

Used VeryGreens generic disk image, created a small partition for BOOT and put the CM7 file there.
Booted and it all put together and partitioned as intended, the 4th part actually took up all teh card as it should so I was happy.

However. After I install like 2-3 apps it tells me I am out of space.
I have 4 partitions:
Root (around 100MB)
Unidentified (around 400mb)
Nook (around 1GB)
CM7 (around 4GB)

So I just need to know which partition that Android thinks is the "internal storage" as far as installing apps is concerned.
