Hello everyone in dear Android forum.
Please, I would like your help with the Android Motorola G32 I have.
It's about the way of answering incoming calls. The way I want to answer is by tapping. Specific phone has this answering way 50%.

If you are in the phone, I mean if you deal with the phone in any way (e.g. deal with settings, see images, listen to music, etc), if someone is calling me, I have two buttons to TAP (green: Answer , red:Reject). That is what I want. But, the problem is if I don't deal with phone (as I said before), if I have phone somewhere else the phone alone, and I have an incoming call. Then, when I take the phone in my hands, the way to answer or reject call is switching way. But, I want to have the tapping way, and not the switching.

I have tried a lot looking at the settings, but not succeed to make it. Maybe it is a combination of settings.
Can you please help me make it with tapping way too?

Thank you for your time!

Welcome to Android Central! The reason why they design it that way is so that you don't accidentally answer or reject a call if it rings while the phone is in your pocket or a purse -- there would be more chance of an accidental tap of one of those buttons in that situation.

There might be an Accessibility option that allows you to answer calls with a tap or button press, but this can depend on the phone (and I don't have a Motorola G32 to test). You've already looked through that menu?

Thank you for your welcome and your information reply too.

It is a really great informative message you gave, because, until today, I have asked for help to this problem from too many people, but no one has, at least, explained why the design is like that (on the pocket/purse and accidentally accept/reject), as you did.

From the other hand, I have tried searching a lot in the settings on both mine Moto G32 and my mother's Moto G31, but have not managed to find something.

I have thought that a possible solution would be to install a Play store app to solve it, but there is the problem that such an app may stole anything (conversations, SMSs, or any other data of the phone). I cannot let such an app solve this problem. Pretty dangerous.

What you're asking for is fairly common -- I've seen a lot of posts like this. I suggest sending feedback to Google about it through the phone's system settings. Obviously, that won't guarantee that Google will work on that feature, but the more people suggest it, the more chance there is that they might.
