ANT+ Radio Woes

I downloaded the three ANT+ Apps which essentially activate the ANT+ Radio. But I'm having no luck pairing my Garmin GSC10 Cadence Sensor to the SSG with 4.4.2 KIT KAT installed. Anyone here have any luck with ANT+ and the new Blue Tooth Heart Rate Monitors (HRM)? I have Beets Blu HRM and it won't connect.

Hmmm have you factory data reset with kit kat? :warning back everything up as all of your internal storage will be wiped all call logs text pictures apps music

must have unlocked boot loaders!!

I'm also going bonkers here, trying to pair up my new Garmin premium heart rate monitor with my Samsung Galaxy S5.
I have downloaded every ANT+ app. It's as if the garmin is not transmitting. I checked the battery, its fine, also tested voltage between the 2 terminals that clip onto strap. I have no idea what is going on...
