Antenna Help

So bear with me here, the other day i came home from class and changed my pants, 5 minutes later im searching my house like a mad man for my Droid Incredible. I remembered that i left it in my jean pocket and i grab my pants out of the top of my hamper and sure enough the my phone falls out of my pocket hits the floor the back pops off and the battery sides across the floor . The phone is cosmetically fine, i power it on and im texting my friends for about an hr. After that my phone has an x over the bars and it is searching for service. Its been like this no matter where i go. I cannot connect to 3g or wifi either so i think it may be an antenna problem.
I just flashed MIUI rom about 5 days ago and i dont think thats the problem at all. My settings say that my mobile network state is disconnected and i have -120 dBm signal strength. Is there anything i can do to replace my antenna if it is broken? if anyone has any ideas pleasee helpp i hate paying for service i cant useee

Sounds like you might have knocked the antenna leads loose. You could try taking the phone apart and reconnecting them, They should be small snap connectors that attach to the board.

I really wouldn't open it. It'll void your warranty and it's much easier to just return your phone to stock and take it in to get replaced. As long as there's nothing obviously broken, they'll replace it if it's under warranty.

Im not sure that its under warranty though since i didnt by it through verizion, i mean i have insurance i just dont want to pat the 90 dollars to have it replaced

If you have insurance and it's out of warranty then there's no issue trying to fix it yourself. Insurance won't care if you tried to fix it yourself, or if it's rooted or anything else.
