Anti shake. How many of you use it?

Was just messing around with the camera and found the anti shake feature. How many of you actually use it? I'm assuming it's for recording, sorta to act like ois?? Does it really work or make a difference?

When using the camera app, bring up the settings, three dots top left of screen. Tap the first box, this is where you choose from auto, HDR modes etc. It's the hand with lines on both sides.

Yeah, most people don't dig too deep into the M8's camera settings. That's a shame because there's some pretty cool stuff in there.

Does it crop the image slightly? Most software stabilisation crops your picture/video a little.. I like a really wide angle on my cameras so usually have anti-shake features switched off.
