I just picked up the Note 4 and so far I love it. I ran the AnTuTu app and my results are very disappointing. Power saving mode is off and before I fan the test, I used CM cleaner and their battery app to clean up any junk files and running apps and here are the results. What's wrong?

Just got it + problem = have it replaced. You already wasted too much time on a new device just by posting the question.

Something very wrong with your phone. I'm getting 47500.

It better not be fake...I got it from the Sprint store. Will I lose anything if I clear the cache partition?

Ok, I cleared the cache partition as suggested and wow!!! I guess there was a bunch of junk on there! I've noticed that ever since I downloaded the lollipop update, the phone has been lagging and apps like facebook and firefox would freeze up. Hopefully that resolves those issues too. Thanks again for the tip!

no clue what this all means. Bet if I lined up a lesser model on the list and ran them with an eyeball test I couldn't tell a difference other than the screen

Great - glad it was the fix for you. Always a relief when it turns out not to be a faulty device.

Yeah, before I cleared the cache partition, I called the Sprint store up and they wanted me to bring it in. I'm glad I came on here before wasting a trip. This place rocks! Thanks again!

Ok, the phone is definitely running better but FB and Firefox still crash and freeze like crazy. I have no problems with any other app or browser. Not sure what's going on. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling..still doesn't fix the issues.

After I read this thread I downloaded AnTuTu and ran an initial scan that was in the 49,000+ range & my phone was at the top of the list. I then cleaned the cache and ran another AnTuTu scan which produced a 45,000+ score and a subsequent 46,000+ score with my phone still on the top of the list both times. I thought it odd that the score was lower after cleaning the cache. Today it's 48,937 again at the top of the list so I guess some cache is better than almost none.

Scores will bounce around the high end from one run to another. I see the same behavior with this and the Quadrant benchmark. If some background task executes during the benchmark run it will affect the score to some degree.

Beat this :-)
