There are a number of extensions for the Windows version, surprised there isn't anything for the mobile. Maybe you have to download a different way? I have 3 installed for Sam Internet and see nothing

AdAway works great but you need to be rooted. There's Tuga browser (based on Snapdragon browser) which includes some ad blocking, security features and night mode.

I got so fed up with the overwhelming number of ads on the Chrome browser that I dumped it and use Firefox and the uBlock Origin ad-blocker for my Pixel XL.

Not sure what you're trying to say. But Adguard works on my chrome browser.

Adguard Content Blocker is an app that will block all ads only in Yandex Browser and Samsung Internet browser without requiring you to root your device. Adguard Content Blocker doesn't block ads in any other apps.

I use the Ghostery Private Browser (https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...=com.ghostery.android.ghostery&token=YekQshzn) for some of my browsing. It does a great job of blocking ads and trackers.

Biggest problem at the moment though is that any site that uses Javascript will crash the browser under the Android O beta, so I have to disable Javascript in Ghostery's settings.

The adguard we are talking about is not from the play store. It works great on Android chrome. And no root needed.

Google said no to this app on the play store so it's only available from their site.

Simply not true. The sideloaded Adguard for Android works flawlessly with Chrome. This is disinformation.

I think people are getting confused with Adguard Content Blocker and Adguard for android.
these 2 are 2 different apps. Adguard Content Blocker is available in play store which block ads on certain browser.
Adguard for android blocks ads across android but is not available on play store
