I got my Ringke Fusion clear case for my 6P yesterday and it also came with 1 screen protector.
I never took out my 6P outside of that "sleeve" it's in from the box, so I wouldn't put any smudges on it/attract dirt. So, I took it out, placed on my office desk and tried about 3-4 times lifting the screen protector on/off to get it over the front facing camera circle, top speaker and bottom speaker.

I got it on/lined up well, but man, there are bubbles galore/protector not "sticking" around the top/bottom edges and around the top/bottom speaker openings because it's a tight little area around them. Needless to say, it came out looking like total crap :(

Are there other companies that make them a lot easier to put on and "adhere" to the screen or is it just dumb luck/trial error? I hate every time I lifted it off because I fear I'm losing more "stickiness" with the protector everytime I do that.. Grrr

So, gotta find another company to buy from and wondered what's the best out there for installing these things :)

Thanks!

If you do it in a place where there's dust and lint in the air it's a lot harder because it gets trapped between the screen and protector and creates those ugly bubbles. If you can't get to a cleaner atmosphere, humidity helps. Try applying it in a steamy bathroom: the water vapor condenses on particles and pulls them out of the air.

Thanks guys! Anyone put one on yet and can recommend? KingsFan, you mentioned a tempered glass one. Are these thicker than normal? Just wondering..

Try this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMPqDwVZzzM

Make sure to do it somewhere in a relatively clean environment. Preferably in a place without carpeting, like a kitchen. Then wipe the counter thoroughly, and wipe the phone down with a lint free cloth and glass cleaner. And wash your hands first too. Take a flashlight and angle it over the screen to see any dust particles that may remain. Remove any with the lint free cloth. Do this with the screen protector attached, (not on the screen, you'll see what attached means after watching the video)

Practice makes perfect. If you get a glass screen protector, you can just "hover" it above the screen and just place it on the screen and press in the middle after applying. Then let it do its thing. (it will self adhere)

Cleanliness is the key though. I've never had to do it in a steamy bathroom, and I get perfect results. CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the tempered glass is thicker.

Thanks...Is there one you, or anyone here, knows that is out/soon to be for the 6p and is pretty good overall?
I will say one thing with the one that came from Ringke is that the overall size is a little smaller when you lay it on top of the phone prior to installing it (and of course after). I wish it was a couple more mm bigger all around to cover the entire glass front.

If the edges of the glass are curved or bevelled, the protector would be undersized on purpose because it wouldn't adhere well (or at all) to those edges.

The film type protectors work better on screens with curved/bevelled edges, so they can be made to cover the WHOLE thing, or at least more than the glass-type protectors.

They also make them smaller so when you put on a case. The lip of the case that touches the screen doesn't push up the screen protector and cause it to bubble.

Also the 6p has an all-round flat screen, no curvature so no halo effect with tempered glass protectors.

I also second the shower application area. It really does help cutting down on the particles in the air.
