Any bets on the Turbo's price?

If I recall correctly last year's Droid Maxx initially sold for $299 on contract when it was launched.

I was thinking that Verizon may go for the same $299 price point but the launch of the Sony Z3 at $199 has me thinking Verizon would have a hard time justifying an extra $100 for the Turbo.

I'm more interested in the off- contract price. I'm guessing the Turbo will sell for $600 - $700 but I hope I'm wrong and it sells for less.

Aren't they charging $200 for the Note 4? A phone which exceeds the Turbo in every possible category. But its Verizon, they will market the hell out of the Droid line and price it high.

$300 for the Note 4

I'm in agreement with you

Not so sure about that. The Turbo looks to have some pretty impressive specs. I see it outperforming the Note due to the touchwiz factor. Either way both devices are heavyweights. Bring on the Turbo.....

Most consumers don't know all the specs.

If there are not 3 tiers of Droid this year, I suspect it will be the standard $199 on contract, especially with the 2014 X at $99 on contract and most other 5-5.5" phones (the only spec consumers can see) being sold at $199, and phablets (Note 4) being priced higher.

I'm guessing $199, which means if you wait a few weeks, Amazon will have it for $149 :)

Don't forget the G3 at $99.

I wont give up unlimited data so I will be paying full retail. Did that with my current RMHD but it has also lasted for a long time and still works great. I will probably wait a few months to see if there are any bugs. But I am really excited for this phone.

I think it will be $199. Motorola learned from the x last year that pricing is key and now they will have the $99 moto x, the $199 turbo to hit both markets. Off contract will probably be $599-$650 like the s5,htc one are.

Honestly, I'll be tickled pink if it's $199 - since it has the best specs, is no doubt the "flagship" and ships with the turbo charger included I'd be pleasantly surprised if it's under $299.

If it's $299 it will last a month before price drops. I think Moto is going to try and go low, like with the Moto x

That would be sweet but it's a lot more phone than the X...fingers crossed.

I'll bet on $299. I think they consider the huge battery kind of a upper echelon phone in its own price range like the note 4 or iPhone 6 plus.

I bet $299 also. I believe the Mini was $99, Ultra $199 and Maxx $299 last time so it makes sense.
