Any body lose album covers, or artists names in music player after update ?

------------Update made some good changes , but for some reason I lost some album covers and artists names in my player . Almost half my music ! I have the album art app but how do I get back my artists names ?

Interesting that I see random personal pictures as album covers. I actually never had any covers before and still don't have any now. I'm using the inbuilt music and Double Twist.

I use an app called Album art grabber, it get's all the covers with one simple click.

Yes, the same thing happened to me. I have tried to delete all the music off the card and reload it, that did not help.

I did not have this, but have random items that the music player sees as songs.

ill have to look, i did notice that it lost my artist info so now the artists shows as unkown even though on my PC is shows corectly.

No problems here.

I'm using bTunes, if it matters, since apparently different programs read the tags differently. For example, my iPod had ZERO problems with album art, but as soon as I put my MP3s on my phone, I had to retag nearly all of them to get the album cover showing.

Well, that's not an iPhone issue.

Maybe Froyo enabled/disabled certain ID3v1/2 tags which is why some people are experiencing missing data and some aren't? I'll have to experiment this weekend.

Yes, on top of losing all album art save one (every song shows the same album art) all of my songs show unknown artist. All the songs are there, and like you they all show correctly on pc, but they are all unknown artist on phone stock music player. One other thing, tried a hard reset, did not resolve.
