...to ever get support for the Play Store? I was excited when I heard Google was finally going to marry the two platforms. What I didn't realize was they were picking and choosing which Chromebooks get access to the Play Store.

I don't think it will. But Chromebooks are still pretty nice machines even without the Play Store.

Agreed. I was just hoping to be able to play some of my Android games on it.

As time goes on, I'm guessing that there will be more Chromebooks that will support the Play store than not. So maybe by the time you get a new one it will be ready to go.
