Any HTC Ones seen out in the wild yet?

I'm in the UK and I have seen two in stores. One at Vodafone and one at 02. It looked and felt gorgeous. Light but weighty enough to feel like you have something substantial in your hand. Beautifully machined with no gaps and a screen to die for. Very similar in size and weight to my previous Galaxy S3.

Both of the ones I saw were silver, sorry about that.

I got my One delivered this morning in the UK so some are definitely shipping but only in very limited quantities and only in silver. It looks like any new orders are only shipping at the end of the month though.

I switched from my iPhone 5 after 5 years of being a dedicated iPhone user and while the switch does take some getting used to the hardware of the One is stunning. It could easily have an Apple on the back and looks like it brings next to my MacBook pro.

I'm not sure about the 2 button layout though. I'm already getting annoyed when trying to get to the multitasking screen and ending up in the home screen because the button didn't recognise the double tap...

I do like the sync software allowing me to import my stuff off my iPhone.

Can you let me know what the quality of the plastic around the edges is please mate?

I've only had the phone a day but the few plastic bits seem really good quality. I don't know where the plastic cracking story came from but I can't imagine it cracking. The plastic really is injected between the metal and seems really solid but I suppose only time will tell.
