Any idea on the upcoming AT&T HTC phone

I have a friend who wants to get an Android phone on AT&T. He wants a subsidized phone rather than pay the full price for a N1. So, AT&T announced an HTC phone by summer of 2010. Any idea which HTC phone this may be?

AT&T needs to step up their Android game. I am also on AT&T currently using Blackberry Bold that I can't wait to get rid off. I'm in the need of some HTC Android LOVE. The Legend looks cool but I want something with some power like the Incredible or the Evo. Any chances we can get something on par with either of those? The Nexus One looks appealing with Android 2.2 installed, but I dont think I feel like shelling out 500+ bucks.

AT&T is saying nothing and the rumored Legend is going to Rogers.

Does not mean it is not going to AT&T as well but it is not that good of a phone.
The best phone rumor was the Desire of which nothing has been said about in months.
There was the mysterious slider that hit the FCC.

Which we could all hope was just a mockup of this.

But that says headed to T-mobile but nobody knows if that is EU or US.

AT&T are saying nothing short of what the press release in Jan said and what the android page says and that is a HTC exclusive device.
