Any information for costco verizon note 7 recall?

I purchased ny note 7 on the day at Costco for Verizon. I havent recieved any emails or calls concerning the recall. Has amyone else received any information?
 
About 1 out of half a million batteries catch fire (pretty good for a huge production run of batteries). If, after a few days, the phone is still working, I wouldn't worry about it. Or you can just call Costco and ask for the information to be sent to you (or Google "note 7 battery" for tons of articles on it).
 
I spoke to costco, verizon and samsung, and here is what they are saying:

Costco: you can exchange here within 90 days, after that you must go to Samsung. However, there is no call list (first come, first served) and they won't be getting very many in (not all the colors either), because they are a low priority retailer.

Samsung: Verizon is the one who will exchange your phone, not Costco (I think this is bull, but they have told me that 3 separate times).

Verizon: You must exchange at Costco, but if they give you any hassle, go to one of our corporate stores and we will help you. They also told me Samsung has not officially told Verizon about new units coming in.

The good news is that all 3 agreed the BOGO rebate will not be effected.

Received a automated phone call from Samsung for Costco tonight. They advised me to power down the phone and return it to Costco for a return. Here is the updated statement from Samsung:

Galaxy Note7 Exchange Program

Went through the ringer with Verizon and they told me I need to deal with Costco. Costco advises to return the phone for a refund. But I need a interim soultion. I got the number of a corporate Verizon store GM who told me to deal directly with him which I will do on Saturday. Plan is to get a interim S7 Edge then trade in for Note 7's when they are available.

I got my N7 at Costco along with my wife's S7. We got the BOGO and I'm waiting on the fit 2.

Now Costco is telling me I can return the Note for an S7E, keep the fit 2 and get the gear vr AND it won't effect the BOGO rebate (which we haven't received yet). I believe the gear be will go through, but I think this would mess up the BOGO rebate.

Anyone tried this yet?
