It's been a little while now. How is the ICS leaked update? Any major issues and how do you like it?

I am loving it although there are a couple of issues.

1. My Bluetooth headset sounds very crackly to other people. Everything sounds good on my end, but not for the other person. It worked fine before updating.
2. The lock screen wallpaper cannot be different from the main wallpaper. The option is there to set a different custom wallpaper for the lock screen but when you set a lock screen wallpaper it is also set as the main wallpaper.

Other than those two bugs, it is a great update. The OS runs smoother, the task manager is great and my battery life has improved a little bit. I also enjoy having access to ICS apps like ICS Browser + and Nova Launcher. Oh, Gmail on ICS is really great too.

Overall, I'm very glad I updated. It's been a great experience for me.

Weird, what rom did you guys come from? I'm on an earlier version of ICS and I didn't notice much of a difference in gmail.

I came from stock. I haven't rooted my Rezound yet so I have not used any of the custom ICS Roms. I can only compare the leaked ICS with the stock phone.

no problems here, cant speak to bluetooth, but it did fix the camera, before the stock would crash right after i opened it, but camera zoom fx worked so i know it wasnt the hardware.

also noticed that foxfi, no longer says it cant run the hotspot, havnt tested it yet beyond the bluetooth that still works.

battery life at least for me seems better, others have said same or worse, so take that with a grain of salt

only other things i can say are, my radios were already the ones from this update, not sure if that matters, and the overall speed of the phone seems better

no real issues with the leaked upgrade, other, than a bit more battery drain running 4G. CDMA only is fine. The leak will cause to re-setup alot ot the settings on your phone. Once, I adjusted the sync settings, my battery life improved quite a bit.

If you have to have ICS asap, then, go for it, but, I would not be surprised to the official OTA coming soon - just speculation on my part. The OTA will hopefully spare users from re-doing a bunch of their settings.
