any kernels that works on stock rom?

Ever since hydrakernel updated his kernels they crash on my stock roms, has anyone had any luck with them? ive tried the bottom two overclock ones. or are these for 2.2 only now?

no, I believe anything lower than .10 should work on 2.1.........

.32 kernels are for froyo and probably wont work on 2.1

ok thanks im new to this so just learning...im too scared to goto 2.2 because of needing to update the radio which seems to be a little rough to downgrade (if need be)

if you run the quick unrevoked forever and get s-off, downgrading/upgrading radio's is really easy

Sorry for the dump question but is it as easy as getting the radio you want, then rename it is update.zip and place in root on sd, boot by holding volume down and power, go in recovery and select the update.zip file?
1. Do I install forever unrevoked?
2. Update radio
3. Use Rom manager to install Rom of my choice?

EDIT: I guess no need to rename. Just use install from sd when in clockworkmod?

And this is the same procedure used to install forever unrevoked as well?
