Any naked converts? Case converts?

As there is for many new device launches a cliche "are you going naked?" forum naturally appears. Now that the device has been released for several months, has anyone decided to shed the case in favor for rocking the device naked?

or

Did you advocate going naked and now rock a prim and proper case?

side note: for you true naked advocates, how has your device aged?

I usually go for a case, but the bigger these phones are getting, the harder it is to find a decent, thin case! In my past experience with the S2 and Note 3, I use a case for about 8-10 months, and then right before I switch to something else, I go 'commando' and just let the phone show off its real beauty. I mean, they were so thin and sleek, I just had to! Don't know if I'll do the same with the Note 4 though, but we'll see.

I really like how the Note 4 looks. It's a work of art and it seemed a shame to cover it up with a case.

I picked up a super thin, crystal clear soft TPU case from eBay. It was only $1.20 with free shipping. It fits well. You can hardly tell it's there and hopefully it will protect the bezel from nicks and scratches.

I love using my phone naked but I dropped it once in the movie theater so I decided to make use of my Samsung OEM protective case. Actually looks very good on the phone

Watch out for sharp edges on the TPU cases. It's been reported that if it's too sharp (cheaper ones tend not to be very well sanded or finished around the edges) it can actually scratch the aluminum on the sides when inserting/removing it, especially if you change batteries often.

Naked at weekends only, it's got to be one of the best looking phones from Samsung in a long while. During the week I tend to use a case basically due to my job as I wouldn't risk damaging it, i'm forever getting stuck in and jumping around in trucks or FLT's rather than spend all day behind the desk.

I go naked. I hate cases. I did have an incipio case for it I used for a couple days then gave it to my friend who has a note 4 also.
Its to pretty to put a case on it.

I alternate back and forth. Currently I am using a Spigen Neo-Hybrid case, and also use a UAG case from time to time. I love the look of the phone, but this was a large investment, and as such, I'd like to protect it.

I go case-less some of the time and then use a variety of cases at other times. I love the look without a case but not the feel. It's too thin in my opinion.

Depends what I'm doing. Usually at work I'll go with a case. Evening and weekend I don't usually use a case. I'm in and out of my truck a lot during the day. Only time I've ever broken a phone was getting out of my truck forgot phone was on my lap.

I hate cases but currently have a caseology on it and ordered the Samsung s view and give it a try. Once the newness wears off i may ditch the case, though the camera lense sticking out may cause me to keep one on it. I never use a screen protector though, cant stand any distortion of the display and my screens have never gotten scratched naked. I view phones as something temporary so knicks here and there don't bother me.

Thanks. I am trying to find it, but there are a few others. I want the thinnest one possible. Attached is what I found, .5 mm. Is yours thinner?

Mine doesn't have a measured thickness. It just says "Ultra Thin". Looking at your selection, I'm guessing it's exactly the same as the one I got. I've been watching the corners to see if the case is wearing the bezel. (As per Spookdroid's post above). I haven't seen anything. Not yet anyway.

If you search, you should be able to find a cheaper one. Here's the listing for mine:

I take my phone out of the case to clean it every once in awhile, and I always consider setting my case aside for awhile, but I'm too concerned with drops, camera lens scratches, and bezel scratches. So I compromise and look at new cases. Right now I'm trying to find a great premium-looking slim profile case. I'm currently using the Speck Candyshell Grip case, but I'd like something even slimmer. A friend of mine just got an iPhone 6+ and has a great looking slim carbon case, but it wasn't available for the Note 4 :(.

Used a case for four months. Just realized I've been causing more damage to it with the case than without (scratches to the aluminum edges from my trying to find the charging port)

Going naked now. Phone looks and feels better.

GS3>Note 2>Note 3>Note 4 : always used a bumper and tempered glass, but never a full-blown case, so I guess I got a foot in both camps. I've dropped my phones on my tile floor and on the street from waist high several times and they've always survived. I also use a FlyGrip and it helps secure the phone so it does help reduce drops when one-handing the Note.
Here's the bumper I currently use: Amazon.com: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N9100 Border Bumper Case, Slim Armor Border Shockproof Bumper Frame Case Cover, Retail Packaging,Red: Cell Phones & Accessories

I spend half my time with the device naked and the other half with a case. It really just depends on where i am at, what im doing and where im going to dictate whether or not i will roll with a case. I prefer a naked device though.
