Any need to keep Android Pay on your Note 5?

I'm using Samsung pay and was wondering if I should uninstall Android Pay. Any reason to keep it?

As soon as VZW got samsung pay i disabled android pay. Not many stores carry the compatible software needed to use android pay.

Galaxy Note 5 and what not

Android pay is NFC only.

Android pay can store your gift cards and loyalty cards, something Samsung pay can't do yet.

Also vendors have to sign up to accept Android Pay, they don't have to sign up to accept Samsung Pay.

And just because they have an NFC terminal, doesn't mean they take Android Pay.

I dont think thats true. As long as they are not blocking NFC functionality...it should work. Only store I know actively blocks NFC is CVS and thats because they were working on their own payment system and didnt want to accept competition. Other than that if you have a store with NFC, I have never had a problem paying with Android Pay or what not.

I know for a fact it is true.

A local store I use here took Apple Pay for a long time and didn't take Google Wallet. Now they have finally signed up for Android Pay.

Also with Google Wallet, only certain stores accepted it.

Well if you say so...I have never had a store not accept Android Pay or Google Wallet if they had NFC terminals. I guess we have had different experience.
