Any Newer, Professional Looking Watches Like LG Watch Urbane Worth Getting?

I like how my LG Watch Urbane looks. I added a butterfly clasp metal band to it, it looks like a real, business/dressy watch, and I load luxury watch faces to it.

Let's face it - the watch is old at this point and runs slowly.

What smartwatches are worth getting that don't look like a kid's toy?

What's out there with good specs, big face, etc.

Is TizenOS any good? I have the original Samsung Gear S and there weren't any apps for it.

Also, I'm not sure I'm a fan of that rotating bezel Samsung has on some of its watches. Isn't touching the screen easier and more practical for scrolling, etc.?

What are some of your thoughts?

I have a couple of Michael Kors Access Grayson watches, which look like dress watches. They don't have heart rate sensors or NFC, but that's not a big deal for me. Armani Exchange (or maybe Emporio Armani) also has some nice newer watches, but they're all from Fossil to begin with.

That is nice.

Does it have a microphone and speaker?

Does it run Wear OS?

Yes, both mic and speaker (OK Google works fine on it), and yes, it's running the latest Wear OS version ("H").

It think this model is discontinued, but you can still find it discounted at a lot of places, like Poshmark: https://poshmark.com/listing/Michael-Kors-Access-Grayson-Smartwatch-5b92b9ae4ab633d1fac8c3d8. I found mine at TJ Maxx, of all places -- the first one for $160, and the 2nd (the snazzy silver one with the silicone trim you see in the image) for $99. I still see one occasionally at those stores (in the jewelry section), so check them out.

What time do you turn it on?

How many hours for half battery?

How long have you used it? How often worn?

I assume this is directed to @vimagreg?

If not -- then I typically take mine off charger around 9 AM, meaning it gets down to 50% by around 10 PM. I've had it for about 5 months, and I wear it pretty much every day (although sometimes I swap it out with my navy blue Access Grayson -- but the silver is my preferred).

Can you reshare the link? The one you posted only goes to the main Diesel page.
Of course. Amazon link of it:

In my case, I wear it typically at 6am, and most of times at 8pm it's down. I use watchfaces by Facer and WatchMaker, screen always on. Maybe that's the reason of the poor battery life. But I think if I can't use all the different watchfaces I want, so there's no point in using a WearOS device, since I use an Apple Watch too with my iPhone and it's way better in any aspects but design.

Usually I have 50% battery at midday, a little earlier. If you could that's a good time to recharge it, since this process is really fast here.

I bought mine during a trip to Berlin in January. And I worn it every time I'm using my 6T instead of my iPhone X, which means mainly at weekends and holidays (my 6T is my personal phone, my iPhone is my work phone and daily driver), but sometimes at workdays too. So it depends, as I like to change my phones and smartwatches a lot.

That looks nice! I wonder about the battery, though, because all of these Fossil watches tend to be about the same in terms of hardware. Try out WatchMaster, which has a number of free watchfaces, and see if that still gives you about the same battery life.

I will. Actually Facer is known to blown WearOS gadgets autonomy, and I use it a lot. I'll try with regular watchfaces and post here the results.

I meant you...

I wore my LG Watch Urbane the other day (not getting many notifications anymore now that Verizon Message+ and Hangouts stopped working) and I had AOD and I also ran it from 9:00am - 10:00pm and I was down to about 44%.

Your MK gets you similar battery life, it seems.

How are the specs? Is the watch faster than mine? Mine can be sluggish at times.

Will MK be releasing new models soon?

So, you get 14 hours with yours, but Diddy gets to 14 hours and his battery is at like 45%?

Access Grayson has the usual Snapdragon 2100, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, 370 mAh battery. (The Diesel has a 300 mAh battery, partially explaining the poorer battery life -- although the watchfaces might have something to do with it as well.)

Performance is generally decent, except right after a restart (which is rare), when it takes a little while for the system and any background services to get fully in gear. If an app isn't in memory, it can take 2-3 seconds for it to start up, but if you were using it recently, it shows up pretty quickly. It's not a really fast watch, but it's much faster than my old 1st gen Huawei Watch, that's for sure.

Some online reviews warn of poor battery life - that makes me apprehensive.

Personally, I haven't seen it (and that's with two different units). If I'm using it pretty heavily, then maybe it's closer to 40% or even high 30s at the end of the day. But I don't recall it ever pooping out before the day was up.

Are those reviews comparing with Apple Watch or other non-Wear OS watches?
