I got the Wi-fi only Galaxy Tab 8.9 a couple of weeks ago and was wondering if there was any news on when we might see an update to Honeycomb 3.2 like the AT&T variant?

There was an announcement earlier this week that Android 4 would be coming in Q1 2012 to all the recent Galaxy Tabs. So I suspect they'll skip 3.2.

I contacted Samsung and they said that there are no currently scheduled updates. I believe there is a place on their website to check update schedules. But I don't have any idea now far out they will announce them.

Samsung has released an 3.2 for the wifi version in some countries. The stock version is available for download and flashing if your are into ROM's

if you are not into rooting and flashing ROM's then you will just have to wait. Samsung has already announced the 8.9 will gets ICS, again XDA already has a ROM of ICS if you are into that(it is an alpha build). If not wait. Samsung learned its lesson for the horrendous update progress of the original Galaxy S line of phones

XDA has a stock 3.2 image and and Custom 3.2 ROM for the Tegra 2 version of the 8.9
