Any non-soakers, non-rooters?

Any of you out there that didn't sign up for a soak test or rooted, had ics pushed out to you?

Nope! I am getting really perturbed. I wish Verizon would not have given a one week window. I think I will use my GNex until everyone starts getting the update.

I really think Verizon made a bad move when they announced the update was being pushed out. When it does finally get pushed, many will be wondering what took so long.

I'm not in the soak test, not rooted, and got the update yesterday morning. I just assumed it was being rolled out.

My wife and I are uprooted non-soakers and she got the update yesterday, I haven't seen anything yet.

My dad is not rooted and is definitely not a soak tester and the update pushed to his Maxx yesterday. He also bought the Maxx pretty soon after it was released. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Funny you should mention that. I did call Verizon the other day, and after speaking with a Level 1 tech supervisor, he told me that Verizon has NOTHING to do with the software push; it comes from Motorola servers.

He said it will take some time for everyone to get the software upgrade as if they were to just say " Come and Get it! ", it would really tax their server.

However, I did get an admission that the announcement could have been worded much better than "ICS will be available on June 22, for downloading."

The supervisor admitted it may take a minimum of a week starting this Monday before we may see anything.

I'm not part of the soak test and received the update to ICS early in the morning of the 23rd. Unfortunately I couldn't install it because I had deleted some system apps (I was rooted but had unrooted to install).

I'm unsoaked and unrooted and unhurried.
I'll wait till somebody throws some Ice Cream at me.
IT does look awesome though and I'm satisfied now that it appears ready.
There are workarounds to get it on sooner, but I'm not in that big a hurry and I don't wanna mess with having to FIX a bricked phone or botched something or other.

To answer your question; no x 3. I'm being patient though. I've learned to be patient when it comes to electronics and deadlines haha. Luckily i'm pretty busy this week so if I don't get it tomorrow the day is not going to go by slow and agonizing.
