Just curious if any of you have opted to keep a previous gen GW device and swap back and forth?

I assume the Galaxy Gear app will manage two devices but haven't actually tried because I've needed the sweet trade credits and was ready to part ways with the outgoing GW.

But lately I've been toying with the notion of getting the GW7U and keeping my GW6 Classic because I feel like there would be times that I would prefer one over the other, depending on if I'm dressed formal and/or exercising. I'm hearing the GW7U finally has accurate health sensors comparable to Apple Watch Ultra.

I had the 5 Pro and 6 Classic, then traded in the 5 pro for the Watch 7, and now traded the Watch 6 Classic for the ultra I should be getting in a couple days.

I bought the Ultra through ATT so it's activated with a line of LTE service. I just didn't want to let go of my sleek GW6 Classic with the stealth look and bezel.

But I will say that the Ultra, with the new gestures, makes life easier to manage without a bezel. "Pinching" to delete notifications is very handy.

I love the freedom of going on runs without my phone and listening to music from my Ultra through Amazon Prime Music.

Do you have to download music to your watch or can you just play Amazon Prime from your watch with earbuds in? I'm thinking you have to download music to your watch I use Amazon and YTM.

No, you don't have to if your watch is LTE and with an active line of service.

I did it yesterday, streaming directly from the watch, but 3.5 miles later, the Ultra overheated and shut off everything except emergency calls temporarily. Going forward, I'll just use downloaded content.

I do. I use my old ones for things that I do that can be harsh on my watch. They both connect to the watch. Very simple.

I'm using Garmin Fenix and Samsung GW ultra. I'll be using the Fenix more since my focus shift toward the health and fitness. Battery on the garmin is rated in days.
