Any one actually use the HTC "Scenes"?

just wondering because a couple of my friends have HTC phones and they say that they don't change scenes at all. they just customize the heck outta one scene and just use that one.

i actually use the scenes but only for work and at home. i haven't found other occasions to use more Scenes.

Home: Live wallpaper/favorite apps on front screen/media widgets

Work: Static Wallpaper/News Feed Widgets/battery saving related features

so back to the original question

Do you use Scenes and what for?

I have two that I use. One is for day to day stuff, the other is a battery saver that I switch to when I go out for long bike rides.

On the battery saver it is black background with only the power widget and a few icons. I do not have anything that uses data on that scene, so no updating of widgets. ( I hope nothing is updating on the other scene that is closed) I can't really speak to how much battery it saves but I can do a five hours listening to podcasts the whole time and not be below 40%. It seems to do the trick. (I also turn off background updating so I don't get a million emails pulling data when I wont be doing anything about them.)

I go back and forth between like 3-4 scenes, mostly because the novelty of it has yet to wear off and it let's me just as fickle as I want to be.
