Any options for Samsung Browser?

I'm using the Samsung Browser "Internet". It's just fine, except I don't care for the fact that it loads the last viewed page whenever I open it. I see no way to change this. Am I missing something?

Pretty much all mobile browsers work that way, I'm afraid. In order to avoid that, you need to specifically close the tab you're viewing before sending the browser to the background. Otherwise, whatever you were looking at before will open when you call the browser back to the foreground.

Yes, there are settings for that. Tap the 3 dot menu on the upper right hand and click settings. Then click homepage. Then choose one of the options.

That's different than loading the last viewed page.

Thanks. I see what he's asking now.

No, for that you can't do it on the Samsung browser but there is some browsers that will truly exit and close the app when you exit it. One of those is ghostery browser which is actually a pretty neat little browser that is fairly light and fast.

I thought they did, but couldn't remember.

One option is before closing the browser open a new tab so it opens on whatever he has set as homepage. I used to do that a lot on my iPhone so I could save articles that weren't worth bookmarking, but that I wanted to read.

I start using Samsung stock internet browser ever since Note 5 got update to 6.0. With the Note 7, I like it even more. It supports extension which you can get the Ads block for and it works very well. I blocked ads from my entire home network and now I can block the ads while on LTE just like iOS Safari which is really nice.
