Any Pixel converts?

I pulled the trigger on the S21 Ultra and will be coming from the Pixel 3. I do this quite often - jump from Pixel to Samsung - and the S21 Ultra goodness sucked me in again.

Any Pixel converts here? What's your experience been? How's the picture taking experience (I've been lurking the pic thread here and they look good!)? Any advice, regrets or other nuggets of wisdom?

Before going to Samsung I had the pixel 3 but that was it the 4 and 5 to me were horrible IMHO. Samsungs cameras take great photos better than iphone most of the time.

But the pixel 3 was a nice device great photos and fingerprint sensor was spot on! I just picked up the s21 5g and couldn't be happier.

I look at it this way if you have a pixel,Samsung,iPhone , you pretty much have the best camera in the phone market with their own unique features .

I've jumped from Pixel to Samsung and back to Pixel. I find that both cameras are pretty good, especially for scenic or nature shots. I prefer Pixel's because of how it can process pet fur (specifically, cat fur!), but as Mustang said, all of those manufacturers push out awesome cameras. Favourites will always be subjective and even subject to change!

I know what you mean about pet fur and Samsung pics ...last several Samsung devices I had either got returned or sold because of that. First few quick shots of my pooches have been much improved from my past Samsung experiences:

The last Samsung I had was the S9 and this phone blows it out of the water. I then went to the Pixel 4xl. It was a great phone, but battery life and lack of customization on it was limiting. Still better than the S9. Then I gave iOS another shot with the 12 Pro. I sold it again a few months and came back to Sammy with this S21 Ultra. Couldn't be happier. I probably would have gone to a Pixel if Google hadn't skimped on the hardware and if they had one with a bigger screen. But who knows. But I will never go back to iOS.

I hear ya ... I have to use an iPhone for work and while it certainly has it's advantages it definitely not for me. My personal phone shall always be Android!

I have an iPhone for my watch, and although iOS 15 is better than the earlier versions it is still nowhere as good as Android.

Got both the pixel 5 and S21 Ultra. Had the P5 first, then bought the S21. Used the s21 for my daughters last year of HS and sports (video, pics). Went back to my P5 when she was done with everything. Battery and compact size of my P5 have been the selling point for me. Display and distance pics, and videos, I miss on my S21. But that's it. Size of the phone was too much for me on the S21.. .. regardless, both great phones imo

I'm a huge Pixel fan and really miss my Pixel 4XL and will be VERY interested in the Pixel 6 XL / Pro (whatever it'll be called) when it's released

The S21 Ultra is a fantastic phone; superb functionality and a fantastic camera; but the same could be said (IMO) for the Pixel 4XL; I found that to be about the best phone I've ever had. Just wished it was a bit bigger

The S21 Ultra size is perfect for me as I've shovel like hands & I hate small phones...

Yes, they are great! I totally agree with you. It was very unfortunate because my S10 took great pictures, but didn't seem to know how to process my cat's fur.
