Any possibility sprint would release early? (aug 20)

Just wondering if there could be any chance they push the date back up to the 20th at the last minute and release early. Doubt it, but it would be cool.

T-Mobile did it, and Sprint was dangling aug 20 date in front of us..... hmmm

Well the white version of the Evo came out 3 days earlier, so its possible. Technically it wasn't a new device launch, but there's always a chance!

Ok I'll go ahead and take the heat for my comment but it's for your own good.

No, absolutely not, never gonna happen! Flame away, but by telling yourself and others it's possibly maybe or even yes you're only building a sense of hope that will be crushed if/when it doesn't happen. The Aug 20th was an earlier expected date that that more than likely didn't happen because of lack of stock. I'd stop believing in that date all together don't get yourselves wound up over nothing and then come that date be disappointed and post about how you were expecting it to be released, false hope = disappointment it'll be out Aug 31st, it's only 2 weeks just wait it out.

The Aug 20th was an earlier expected date that that more than likely didn't happen because of lack of stock.

Lack of stock (most likely), aGPS settings fix (possible, not likely), Brightpoint (possible).
If it was brightpoint to business channels, some will have it early. It certainly has happened on other top end sprint phone in recent past.
