any problems with cables connecting nexus 7 to the tv?

i was thinking about buying chromecast, then i found out that it won't show everything on the tablet.

so i am thinking about buying the cable to connect it to the tv, i wonder if this product has any problems of its own?

Look for slimport on amazon or eBay, 1080p 60fps should be about $15. That's what I use

Yep, Slimport is what you need. Unfortunately Google chose to use the free license Slimport standard for Nexus while MHL has a much wider adoption and availability. Since my phone uses the wider MHL and since I didn't want to have to use 2 adapters I chose use my phone for TV playback. Just another option you can consider depending on what your phone is.
