Any reason to set cdma only Mode ? Save power ?

If you are primarily in a 3g area would this mode prevent searching for 4 g and thus save power ??

I'm also very interested in this. Another thing, if I am in on wifi, does it burn up extra juice leaving data On even though it isn't being used.

I dont think so, my battery seem to last longer on wifi vs spotty 3/4g service @ home

From everything I have read switching to CDMA only if you are not in a 4G area will keep the phone from constantly searching for the signal making the battery last longer. I don't think it is going to drain the battery that much faster, but there may be a small difference.

I dont have 4g in my area and swtich to CDMA mode only deff increased battery for me. The abttery lasted me from 6:30 am to like 11 pm with moderate wi fi and 3g use.
