Any rumors of improved battery life in 6.1.1?

Any rumors to fix the battery life that was seriously degraded in the 6.1 A.i update?

I used to get about 8 hrs before the update (even 9 when new) and after 6.1, I'm lucky to get 6 hours but sometimes less. How disappointing that we pay a lot of money for these phones and Samsung takes the improved battery life feature away which for some of us was the reason we upgraded.

People will talk about micro improvements but I want my battery life back!
