My biggest gripe (and might be my only) is the god awful browser on this phone; and third party browsers on this phone are no different. They are awful, because the text does not reflow when you zoom out or in and that causes the web content to disappear at times or not even be present at all. This is very annoying, because I pretty much do everything on my phone's browser, from paying my bills to looking at my class schedule. It is no longer possible on this phone, however. Another problem that the browsers face is the adobe flash player causes the browser(s) to freeze and crash. I don't understand why they would downgrade the browser from the Epic 4g touch. Is there any word if they are going to fix the browser(s)?

Wow, have to say I totally agree on all points especially in comparison to the Epic Touch. I'm also interested in any solutions someone has found. Other than that, I guess we'll have to wait for an update. And hopefully before the Jelly Bean browser update cause Chrome definitely isn't cutting it.

@averagecrown I tried those browsers, and they were not any different from the stock as far as functionality and stability. I think it has to do with the phone, because Dolphin and the stock browser worked almost flawlessly on my E4GT.

I hope Jelly Bean fixes these issues, because as of right now, the browsers seem like they are in beta mode.

I'm not entirely sure if this is what you're looking for but I think it is.

Open your stock browser.
Push the menu button.
Scroll down to settings
Choose advanced
Check auto-fit pages
Back out of advanced settings an go into accessibility
You now will see sliders to adjust the zoom on double tap along with font size.

I have tried that. It does fit everything within the page, but it still doesn't fix the other issues. I guess some of it can be attributed to not having much flash support from adobe thus causing some of the problems I am seeing, especially the MLB.com and CSULB.EDU website

Might be a silly question, but have you downloaded Adobe Flash separately from the Play Store? It doesn't come preinstalled.

My favorite browser since my original Asus Transformer got the ICS update has been and still is ICS Browser+

It has thumb controls and works flawlessly on my S III.

As someone who came from the Evo 3D, a browser that wrapped properly was a must, and I found it in Opera. I've been very pleased with it thus far. My only gripe is that sometimes it's a little finicky when trying to touch the screen to open a link, but other than that I've been very pleased, and the wrapping works great.

I use Dolphin HD Browser and it works for my needs. I don't browse a lot of sites that aren't formatted for mobile or have two much text, because even at 4.8 inches, it's not big enough to be simple to use for me.

i guess that's the ONLY thing good about that iphone.. web browser is generally very smooth and transitions well when zooming in and out... everything else on the other hand... welll... lets just say... i want to go back to android!

Opera? Or Opera Mini? Mini doesn't do text reflow, as far as I can tell.

Opera Mobile. And it definitely reflows/wraps.

Cool; yes it does! Very nice. Only issue I see is that the status bar never shows any website as fully loaded; it always stops at around 95%. Do you see the same?

I have not seen this issue. All of the websites I've been to load completely when no problems.
