Any success Marketplace recognizing NC as a phone?

Just wondering if anybody has had success with marketplace recognize NC as a phone when installing Apps. ??

Mine show as a 'phone' with a '?'. Both the phone and install buttom greyed out. I'm guessing that this is connected to why my market app on NC doesnt show all the apps that are available. Maybe it's not showing apps that are coded to be for a phone specific.

Changing the fingerprint (CAREFULLY) and I can see more apps (like Google Translator, Twitter). And then some go away, like Angry Birds, but Angry Birds Seasons is still there, which I'm suspecting is due to the new Angry Birds needing SMS access, which isn't here.
