Any suggestions for a screen protector that will work with the fingerprint scanner. I had a tempered glass one but the scanner would not work with it on.

Most of the plastic film ones work but I still prefer the tempered glass Whitestone Dome.

^ This.

I haven't found one that surpasses the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector I use.

It works well with the fps.

Not the cheapest option and anyone fitting one for the first time can find the procedure a bit daunting.

Heck it's still a bit daunting now and I've fitted quite a few of these ! ;)

The first time I installed one I watched the video a few times and then played and paused it at each step. Installed like a charm.

I also have the whitestone dome. I really like it. Install is daunting. I watched the install video several times and then pausing it at each step. I believe I got it installed perfectly . It wet mounts to your screen so no gaps. By far the best screen protector I have ever used. Its like it isn't even there. Nice

I agree , especially curved screens best i used also .

Here's another vote for the Whitestone Dome glass. Ever since they put the fps in the screen thats what I've used.

The Whitestone Dome is unquestionably the best glass screen protector, but I prefer the flimsy screen protectors just to help mitigate micro-scratches and below is the one I got and it's the best I've used on any phone. A few weeks of use now and the sides are still flush while using a case. Most screen protectors start coming up on the sides after a few days but so far, so good with this one.

Whitestone is the best but comes with the cost and well documented installation nuances. I currently am using the Zagg GlassFusion Vision guard plus. It is a hybrid glass protection. Still expensive but much easier to install. No issues with fingerprints sensor.

I got the tmobile one. But it was thick and I didn't like it. Plus it didn't seem like it went all the way to the case. And prints all over.

I had the OEAGO ones and put one one. I like it. Thin, smooth, only little prints.
I had to do my fingerprint again for this screen. Try and rescan your fingers.

Try another finger as well. I did my thumb then index with this one. My index works better then my thumb.

I wound up keeping the Spigen film version I tried. I managed to get it on with only one dust particle and one bubble. That's pretty good by my standards.😆 I would rather have tempered glass, but it seems difficult to accomplish with this. This is inexpensive, and it will do until I see something that looks like a better idea in tempered glass.

Works perfectly with the fingerprint scanner.

This is what I'm currently using. Besides the super rubbery feel it works and no issues with my fps. I did somehow manage to mess up the first two installs , but I got it right with number 3. Im rocking this last one for as long as i can.Lol

I use wet application screen protectors and my fingerprint sensor works 💯/💯.

They are called,
Deltashield wet application screen protectors in Amazon.

Cost 8.95 and you get 3 shields and materials to install shield in box.

For your note 20 ultra I use the shields that fit the s20 plus. The reason why is that the case you use always pushes up on the edge of the screen causing them to eventually peel away. The S20 plus is smaller so likewise the shields are smaller, works like a charm.
Helps protect against scratches and falls.
Since using these, I've never had a front cracked screen on any phone. On my s20 Ultra I somehow cracked the back of the corner when I had it. I didn't have a case on it and it took a tumble down our deck and hit the side of the cement wall. I was shocked it didn't totally disintegrate with how hard it hit and how far it fell.

Running off sorry.
Good luck with whatever.
8.95 worth a shot.

Anyways it takes a couple tries to get these on right. Once you learn how, for me I don't like using nothing else but these.

I am using a Zagg invisible Shield with glass fusion and visionguard .I got at t mobile and they applied it working well

+1 on the Spigen protector. Looks as good as day one. Not a single bubble or blemish. Once it cures and really tightens up on the screen your fingers glide across it nicely. And even though you can see the faintest of orange peel if you look close enough for it, you can’t feel it and by the shot taken of my screen from wife’s iPhone 11 Pro, I can’t see it effect viewing quality at all.

And no issue with the FPS.

Remember if you go with the film on Note, when writing with S Pen you'll notice the difference. So go with a glass-like whitestone dome is a better choice. It's not hard at all. Just watch the video on youtube.

Actually, "Real" creators and doers :p... or hardcore users of drawing tablets actually may prefer the feel you get on the film... that's why "Paperlike" screen protectors are so popular on iPad tablets. They give that feel of resistance/friction like drawing on real paper.

I actually don't use my pen much anymore so just tried it. On the Spigen TPU I've mentioned before I wonder if they are using a new formula because, once the TPU has really cured on the glass, moderate pressure is not leaving any indentations behind on the TPU. Definitely did with my Spigen on Note 8. Feels "paperlike" too writing. Doesn't bother me even on the one and only tip compound Samsung provides with the pen. :-\ But to each their own... I do like the slippery glass feel myself. :p

Actually, it's the opposite for me. I preferred less resistance.

I purchased a screen protector and camera protector on Amazon. Love it! Only like 12 bucks. It said it was a film, but feels just like the screen. QHOHQ - it came with 3 screen and 2 camera. Just followed the video on Amazon - it went on great.
