Any suggestions for a screen protector that will work with the fingerprint scanner. I had a tempered glass one but the scanner would not work with it on.
The first time I installed one I watched the video a few times and then played and paused it at each step. Installed like a charm.^ This.
I haven't found one that surpasses the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector I use.
It works well with the fps.
Not the cheapest option and anyone fitting one for the first time can find the procedure a bit daunting.
Heck it's still a bit daunting now and I've fitted quite a few of these !![]()
I agree , especially curved screens best i used also .I also have the whitestone dome. I really like it. Install is daunting. I watched the install video several times and then pausing it at each step. I believe I got it installed perfectly . It wet mounts to your screen so no gaps. By far the best screen protector I have ever used. Its like it isn't even there. Nice
I had the OEAGO ones and put one one. I like it. Thin, smooth, only little prints.
I had to do my fingerprint again for this screen. Try and rescan your fingers.
Try another finger as well. I did my thumb then index with this one. My index works better then my thumb.

I wound up keeping the Spigen film version I tried. I managed to get it on with only one dust particle and one bubble. That's pretty good by my standards. I would rather have tempered glass, but it seems difficult to accomplish with this. This is inexpensive, and it will do until I see something that looks like a better idea in tempered glass.
Works perfectly with the fingerprint scanner.
Remember if you go with the film on Note, when writing with S Pen you'll notice the difference. So go with a glass-like whitestone dome is a better choice. It's not hard at all. Just watch the video on youtube.
Actually, "Real" creators and doers... or hardcore users of drawing tablets actually may prefer the feel you get on the film... that's why "Paperlike" screen protectors are so popular on iPad tablets. They give that feel of resistance/friction like drawing on real paper.

I actually don't use my pen much anymore so just tried it. On the Spigen TPU I've mentioned before I wonder if they are using a new formula because, once the TPU has really cured on the glass, moderate pressure is not leaving any indentations behind on the TPU. Definitely did with my Spigen on Note 8. Feels "paperlike" too writing. Doesn't bother me even on the one and only tip compound Samsung provides with the pen. :-\ But to each their own... I do like the slippery glass feel myself.![]()
