Any T Mo or Unlocked Phone on TMo's 30/month Plan

Can I just run out and buy like an Atrix that is unlocked, or even a iPhone (just asking, I'm and Android guy) and use it on T-Mobile's 30/Month plan or does it have to be one from their site? If so the Vibrant is on there, can I go buy a Vibrant elsewhere and go back and use it on this plan? Any help is helpful and thanks in advance.

Well of course the big appeal of the $30 plan is that you can use 5gb of data before they have the right to boot you off 3/4G, and with an iPhone, Atrix, or another phone that doesn't support the correct radio bands you can only get 2G data speeds anyway, but to answer your question directly, you can use any T-Mobile plan with any phone that supports the necessary frequencies, whether T-Mobile sold the phone to you or not.

It's worth noting that if you go through Walmart on the $30 100 minute plan they'll make you use a Walmart phone, though, so be sure to buy and activate your prepaid SIM and activation kit through T-Mobile.com.
