Android Central Question

Hi Friends,

I have tested many apps but none of them worked for S10. Are you using any tested call recording app for Samsung S10?

I think few regions got the official call recorder but this one I purchased from Dubai so not sure if this one will get it or not?

If I recall, once I got the update but post that never saw that options anywhere in settings or elsewhere

Please let me know any trusted application that you are using for call recording

Regards

Google and Samsung have been making call recording very difficult because they want to "protect you from doing illegal activities".

Which version of android is your S10 running?

It seems that more and more call recording apps are being purposely broken by Google. This one seems to be less broken than some others:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nll.acr
It is the one I have installed on my LG V30 running android 9.

With Android 10, no - the API these apps need to grab the incoming audio no longer exists. You can use the speakerphone and a voice recorder.

Yeah the last I heard they had pretty much finished it which is why it is still curious to me that they remain on the Play Store. But everything I've read about Android 10 is it's gone. I don't think I've seen that suggestion but given the right environment that should work.

That's got me wondering now though because last night I played with the screen recorder for the first time, which reminds me I want to go in and that those permissions away, but back to what I was saying... I wonder if Samsung's Screen Recorder would capture anything. The settings for it are No sound, Media sounds and Media and mic. I never call anyone and would surely forget if someone called me to try it. It might not even open when the dialer is active but it would be worth a try.

huh?
I don't like the insinuation of anything you said and in fact I'd ask you to edit it or have a mod or admin otherwise be informed that this is out of bounds. To be specific, peddling things you heard elsewhere are a cause, Samsung and Android and permissions invoked in this,. Asking why it's on a store is irrelevant to your post question and the fact is that i have to quote your sentences and spend all day to show how this is not how you participate but rather add falsehoods in every sentence except where you don't further but degrade by making untrue issues a problem and further offer what you claim as outside no source or shown cause to be something you know to be true and what is happening. You ask a question unrelated that's so easy to answer but it's off topic to also harm the status of claims You don't know why it's in an app store because you claim it doesn't work. Why? Your answer is it works. its developer complies with all the latest new changes or previous ones. that are part of allowing it to be published, it has passed getting in multiple environments, is forced to update app to slow for the newer phones when possible by using the latest Android developer code tools and signing off on the rules. point is you're wrong because it works and need to stop falsehoods about recoding applications are you even aware of the most common one?? have yo even tried Google... oh.. i have to list many but Google meet? s hangouts? voice? Skype? ms teams? Snape for business? I'll shop since i don't want to bother mentioning alll my Galaxys using default built in ones even. Ask questions don't preach lies and rumors. You don't understand the implications of both Samsung and Android to make any sound argument and please even remove permissions too much for you to post nonsense. You posted too much for one question that you are asking yourself if screen recorders work. off-topic come on. I'll answer for you though just pm instead.

Hope you feel better after all that, I'd say I wish I knew what you were talking about but I'm probably better off not. Good luck with whenever and best wishes.
