I bought these in summer 2015. An earbud went bad in September. I moved cross country so in October I filed a warranty repair and a new pair was sent out in November, refurbished. That pair had the same issue in December so I called again and had a replacement again sent out come January 2016. Today, not even one month after getting the second refurb pair, an earbud died again. Three headsets, three dead earbuds.
Called the call center and they are in the Philippines. Despite me calling in at 7:45 p.m. ET they said the sups do not take calls after 8 p.m. ET. What a crock! Anyway the rep was named Al (like that's actually his name; I'm not stupid) and was terrible at his job. He wouldn't get me a supervisor and kept trying to recommend a third pair of earphones. Like a third refurb would fix the issue.
I want a full refund on a clearly broken product that I've had documented replacements for. But I don't want a foreign country with foreign accents. Who can I contact in the USA to address this matter and get it fixed? I want a refund. The product stinks and I shouldn't have to waste money on design flaws or whatever the issue is.
With Verizon, I have ways to contact corporate. Same with an HP issue I had recently. Both were American. Surely LG has such an office. Who do I contact so I can get this resolved? Because I have had it with broken headphones that are the result of their shoddy worksmanship.
