Any word on AT&T S5 Active 5.1.1 Update?

Now that 5.1.1 is out for the plain Jane S5, I am wondering if the Active version will follow soon.

One thing I am particularly curious about is whether they will turn on WiFi calling for the S5 Active. AT&T has turned on this for a month now and it is available on iPhone 6 and 6s with iOS9. They should have enabled this for the Galaxies as they come with this feature from the factory. (T-Mo has had this for years). My office gets poor LTE reception and makes hanging onto a call, and sending MMS attachment a real chore.

It keeps telling me the update gets interrupted and doesn't finish. I'm gonna have to go to Best Buy at the Samsung display and get them to install it for me. I had to do it the last time for 5.0. It's weird

I have just successfully installed the update. After reading the failures I uninstalled many apps and move data over to the SD card to free up about 6.4GB of storage before I started the download. All went well, and seems to be smoother. I have reinstalled the apps. Will report back once I get some miles on this new build.

I'm gonna go tomorrow to Best Buy to get the update installed on my phone.

That's cool if our phones get Marshmallow too.

The camera app launches quicker with the new build, and focuses faster. Battery life seems the same, if not better than before. Nothing else negative to report at this time.

I finally got the update to install after clearing up some space for it to install. It seems like there's been a few improvements, nothing major that I see. The battery life seems to be a little bit better and the camera does go faster like you said. It's nice to have an update though.

My post from another thread:
I mentioned it in another thread, but I had to do a factory reset on my phone to get the update to work. One tip though: If you have an SD card, back it up to your PC first! Luckily, I did this, because when I put it back in the phone after my updates, it wiped it clean! Didn't even ask me, just deleted everything on the card! If I hadn't backed all of that up, someone at the AT&T store would have an S5 Active sideways sized rectum... Very unhappy with having to A: do a factory reset, to get it to update, and needing to update to make it work properly. And B: for having the phone do something so drastic without asking my permission first. Sure, my photos and videos are backed up on Google Photos, but not full resolution. Plus I had other notes, etc. on there.

I too had install problems. My AT&T store refused to even try to help. I was able to find a Samsung guy at Best Buy. They installed the update in about 10 minutes and no apps, photos or data was lost.

I noticed a lot of freezing with my last update, which is why I wanted this one. Now I'm wishing I could go back to how it was when I bought it. Android/Touchwiz is so restrictive now, on top of being laggy and glitchy while running on this phone. My $40 Lumia 640 with WM10 preview has less glitches and runs smoother. That's seriously frustrating.
