Any word on rooting Optimus G Pro?

I realize today is day 1 of the launch, but given its been on the market if only oveseas I was hoping there might be some news on rooting. I get mine tomorrow.

Looks like there's a way to root the overseas one, but it's not integrated into OneClick yet. There's also methods to get rid of the QSlide bar in the notification shade (yes I'm obsessed with doing that) but they require root access. I figure root's the way to do it on the G Pro too, so let's get that root access!

Root is the most critical need on any Android phone. Even if you don't plan on doing a custom ROM, most if not all uses certainly benefit from using Ad Blocker Plus

XDA Optimus general forum. We have root. The same method that roots the Optimus G also roots the Pro.
