anybody else get an update this morning?

i woke up this morning to a system update, but it appears nothings really changed. still 2.3.7. i was excited thinking maybe an early release of ics but was wrong. lol

i figured the update would wipe out the root we have

I have root and I received the update. I installed it but for some reason the software version is still zvc when it should have changed to zvd.

yea i have root too. idk whats up, didnt affect anything and all my stuff under phone info is the same

How big was the update it might not have updated the vipers modem(which determines baseband version) <- scratch that just checked my stepdads viper and his baseband shows zvd.

actually i rooted after the update. it worked fine with the ratc file. i wasnt rooted before the update.

Yes, the update does kill root, but from the looks of it, they still haven't patched against ratc, so it should be nothing to re-root.
