Anybody else not liking the glossy plastic antenna cover?

What if some figures out a way to "super size" the antennas?

I would need to see a lot of positive reviews first before even considering it.

Personally I don't feel that way. I think we will have to come up with some kind of "EVO wave" (like Harley riders always do the "low wave" to each other when they pass on the street), so that when you see another person using an EVO 4G LTE walking the towards your we can give each other that "EVO wave".

Yeah with that glossy back cover and ugly red kickstand, about the only wave i'll be able to muster is the "big L hand signal" when i see other EVO users...lol

i am NOT a hater/troll by any means and also think this phone is spec'ed out awesome, but good gravy, would it have killed those designers to offer their fancy "red black and grey" cocktail IN ADDITION to a nice understated white and aluminum trimmed one instead of the ONLY choice? Been back and forth in my head having the argument with myself, "jeeez its JUST a phone, a case won't KILL you" (even tho i HATE cases and it jussssst might kill me : ) and yes i know if history repeats, a white one may very well follow within a few weeks, but a few weeks in "cell phone waiting" is like dog years... :-*

Sorry y'all, but i watched the "Evo HTC LTE Design" video and it left me dumbfounded that soooooo much went into the design of that phone and it came out so putrid looking.

HTC did a fantastic job with the design of this phone. and they put a nice finish on the bottom half of the phone, why did they put a glossy plastic cover for the antenna? IMO they should have done the same with the top cover as they did with the bottom. hopefully third party covers will be available to replace it.

What are your thoughts?

Agreed this makes the phone look atrocious.

I don't care for the white either. I liked the new design and after I watched Phil's walkthrough the "like" turned to "love". I think the designers have hit the ball out of the park. It is stunning and gorgeous!

It reminds me of one of the samsung commercials making fun of the I-drones. How will people know I upgraded if it looks like the old one. LMAO! Well,everyone will know with this puppy.
