Anybody else with low volume during call?

I switched on Thursday from my TB to the Bionic and so far everything is to my liking except for the low volume during the call. Phone volume is set to max, media, call, and ringtone. Just not loud enough for me.

Nope, everything is fine on my calls. It might even be a little loud since I can hear them clearly with the phone 5 inches from my face. Maybe you have a bad speaker?

Are there different speakers for the ear area and the conference speaker? Music plays just fine and the call volume on the speaker is just fine as well.

They are 2 separate speakers I believe.

I've had that problem too. It's sporadic though. Sometimes it's too quiet at max volume during a call and other times it's plenty loud. Not sure what to make of it.

Yes, i think my speaker volume is kinda low. Gonna go check another Bionic in store to compare.

Really because the speaker is lower than mine original droid . Internal speaker and the actual speaker phone are both lower. Maybe you have your say differently?

This one thing is bothering the crap out of me. It is the only thing I do not like about my device. But it is a very important thing for the phone functionality.

Didn't have an OG droid so I can't compare, but for me it is plenty loud and everything is clear and crisp. External speaker could be a little louder but I don't have a problem with it since I use it when it's not too busy around and keep the volume around 75% anyways.

Right out of the box, my volume during call was non-existant. Then I couldn't hear the videos or media. Turned out to be a loose connection which they replaced as a lemon. All's good now!

My in call volume is set at the max, It did bother me that I couldn't turn it up a little more, but I'm getting used to it.
