Nope. the F5 was my first foldable and I'm not giving up that inside screen.
It is nice, that's for sure. I have a S23U for my back up, I'm thinking about getting a 24 to replace that. I'm still debating between the 24 plus or ultra. This year the plus and ultra are very similar, basically the Spen and camera are the differences. Decisions...

I think in the US the plus is the smarter move. But, you are upgrading an S23 Ultra which is your backup phone.. so you're not looking for the smarter move and should get the ultra.

I also think the smarter move here the plus is the better move. It's hard to do the smart thing sometimes as I've always had notes, not for the Spen, but for the bigger screen, and the few extra perks like more RAM and such.

This year Samsung changed that game a little. There's these benefits in picture also, the Wi-Fi 7 isn't a big thing for me or for most from what I've read.

I'm trying to make myself do the practical thing, but I'm not known to do the practical things at times. The decision is as this is my back up phone, I will be using it from time to time on my second line and if my fold acts up as most know I've had some issues with them in the past this will more then likely be my go to phone, but I could upgrade to another later if I get rid of the fold 5, as this is my last fold if I have another issue, I've given it enough chances.

Yeah,if you don't use the S-Pen it's hard to think of a good reason to get the Ultra besides just wanting it... they really closed the gap(in the US).

It was a much simpler decision for me. Plus with Exynos or Ultra with Snapdragon.

Honestly, I should have just kept the S23 Ultra haha.

Honestly, I should do the same and keep the S23U.

I thought it was a simpler decision when I seen the plus was exynos until I seen i was looking at the non United States model. Samsung should just make all their phones with the snapdragon processors, that's what everyone wants and they can compete with iPhone better, IMO.

Played with ultra and plus in Best buy today. The camera zoom-in and zoom-out is very smooth on ultra but on plus and regular it is very choppy as usual. Very impressed with ultra. For a moment, I thought of abandoning my Fold and going back to the slab. My expectations increased for Z Fold 6 now.

While I really like the fold 5 and the nice big inner screen. I also get annoyed at having to open the phone to do anything meaningful. The stress of owning a fold is annoying as well. I just feel like I have to be extra careful with everything I do on this device so I don't damage the folding display.

I miss being able to pick up my phone and use it without having to fold it open. I also miss the spen being stored in the device. With the s24 ultra having a flat screen now. There isn't much keeping me from switching back.

I've had the 24U for about a week. I'm starting to miss my Fold 5. Debating on which one to make as my primary
My fold 5 is still my primary. I have 2 lines right now so I use both. I have a visible cell plan that is $20 a month and it runs off the Verizon network. I don't recommend visible for data, but talking is fine and that's what that line is for.

If I didn't have the second line I would be like you, wanting to use each one. I use the fold more myself

This has been asked about other phones.. Anyone getting a S24 series phone coming from a fold 5.
I was debating on getting one but I was gifted a Pixel Fold and thus far loving it. I've had only Samsung phones for the past 10 years from the Notes, Folds and whatever else they had.

I still have a week with my Fold to decide whether or not to keep it so we'll see?

The worst is when I see someone else using a fold while open....I start feeling bad that mines at home....
In the short time I've owned my Pixel Fold I rarely ever use it unfolded. The " bigger is better " adafe is definitely appropriate to any and Folds IMHO.

The only time I use it unfolded is when I'm at the gym and I'm usually using it for music or texting but other than that I'm opening this bad boy up

Then if I was in your shoes I wouldn't spend the extra on a fold device. I typed this on my unfolded fold 5.
