Anybody happy with Gingerbread yet?

Just checking.
I am not rooted.
I still have not performed the update (I still have froyo)....because I saw all the negative comments here.
Just wondering if things are better yet?
Should I update or stick with froyo?

It has root so I'm happy.

But seriously it was a pretty nice update. Security fixes, much better text selection, and it seemed faster. There are a few problems like sense restarting when exiting apps.

Settings------->Applications----------->Fast Boot (Uncheck).

then do a power off and power on (reboot).

There where VERY noticeable improvements to the speed of the phone. I also got about a 10% (un-scientific) increase in battery time. Still waiting for an easy root option, but I'm just missing wifi-tether and sd-speed increase right now.

Just downloaded the rooted stock 2.3.3 Rom.. I love it so far... Way faster IMO. Haven't used it long enough to notice a battery improvement.

It does seem to perform better, and I love that the phone no longer lags when I turn 4G on. However, the often rebooting Sense is a bit annoying.

I am quite pleased with it. I haven't had reboot issues or anything like that as others have experienced though. Knock on wood.

I am ...im runing kingsrom on my rotted evo and kingrom got my Evo on 2.3 so skype video calling YESS

This issue got fixed with the latest update.

I love GB...my Evo is faster, better battery life & I haven't had any issues with reboot!!
