Anybody tempted by the 4A?

At the beginning of this year I "downgraded" from the Pixel 3 to the Pixel 3A XL mainly for the battery size and for the past months I see no reason to go for a flagship as the A line satisfies my needs.

The only downside I've had is pockey portability so I've been drawn to the 4A as it's right in between the 3A and 3A XL with respect to size and I love the smaller bezels. Aside from that it seems like a bit of a marginal upgrade.

I almost switched to the iPhone SE recently but with this 4A release Google finally (in my opinion) got it right with respect to price and what you get.

Do any 3A owners plan to upgrade? Thoughts?

Thought about upscaling - however Google will only offer $120 trade in on a Pixel 3a.

I've been on the 3a XL since last October. I'm not opposed to a new device but thinking the 4a display might be a little small for me. I'm waiting till the fall for the 4a 5G and the Pixel 5.

I preordered the 4a. To be my new Android phone. I usually upgrade my Android device every 3 years. 6p to S9. I’m going to try the Pixel line out now.

I'll be getting another pixel but I'm also waiting for the 5g models to come out..... I keep my phones for years and I want to be 5g ready. I'm still using a first gen pixel that is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down anytime soon ;-)

I was tempted to upgrade my 3a to 4a, but I think I will wait. I do like the larger screen, but the overall phone dimensions are smaller than the 3a.

My 3a is holding up just fine. The only upgrade that makes it tempting is the 128gb of storage but I am getting by fine with the 64gb.

My next pixel will be a 5G device. I will either aim for the pixel 5A or the pixel 6.

I'm sticking with my 3a. Still as good as day 1. I cracked the screen in June and would have gotten the 4a as a replacement but with it being delayed I had the screen replaced and am happy I did so.

I returned it. Still too small for my liking. The 6.2 inch 4a 5G should be a keeper though.
