anybody try a custom rom yet?

i see on xda netarchy made a custom aosp kernel for the 4g models. they also claim we can use the current roms. anybody going to give it a go and report back? id like to know so when my nexus gets here this week i can just go root and flash away.

I'm rooted and everything, made a nandroid backup but haven't flashed any roms yet. I'm just waiting for the devs to give the ok

As long as you have recovery.img installed and you backed up your wimax RSA keys, you should be ok. However, make sure you save a copy of your nandroid backup on your computer in case you somehow corrupt your recovery.

I'm just going to unlock, then flash Net's kernel so I can overclock. Probably run stock for a bit until I start tinkering.

Thats exactly what I'm going and it's nice. Works great. There is 2 other things i wish the stock ROM had available but they will come soon .

all i request is a stock rooted 2.3.4 rom that i can manually theme and flash to my nexus. i guess i could just pull the framework.res through abd but it's a pain in the rear. i HUGE into themeing my phones and im going to port my evo theme to my new nexus this week.

Hey just flash his ns4g cfs kernel, runs great sitting at 1.4ghz.. as for roms i know cm wont work til 2.3.4 is fully integrated.. may take a few days but for all you previous epic/evo owners ACS has a few guys (myself Included) working on stuff already
