According to my search.. the only true difference with the Verizon Note 7 and a Samsung Note 7 is that Verizon has put their name tag on these devices. However Verizon could have also reworked the note's internal settings and added features which could be different and a stock or standard Samsung Note 7 or vice versa.

In my opinion and if you don't mind seeing the Verizon logo at the get go to reboot or restart and the Verizon model is cheaper than the Samsung model.. then go for it.. All you're doing is buy a Verizon model and assigning an AT&T network card which happens all the time.

If AT&T is your provider, then it's best to see what devices they allow.. I think this is technically termed as a "bring your own device in" contract sale or rebate to switch services. Might need a few simple teaks from an AT&T technician/account service rep.

Re: Anyone able to use Verizon Note 7 on AT&T?

If you do the swap from Verizon to att I have heard there my be issues accessing data. Apparently Verizon phones don't have all the different bands that att uses. Some but not all. Anyone know if there is any truth to that?

TOASTERvan, thank you for the response. I have been contract free for over a year now and have had good luck using SE Passport, Moto X Pure Edition, Nexus 6p and other unlocked gsm phones on AT&T so sounds like I should be able to use A Verizon model on AT&Ttoo.
